BA Thesis Exhibition

This collection of works is inspired by the works of Sylvia Plath, with works such as The Rabbit Catcher, We are Meek, We are Edible, Lady Lazarus, and Morning Song draw directly from elements of Plath’s poems. They explore humanities exploitative relationship with nature and the decay it brings. My ceramic works draw from elements of these paintings, bringing a three-dimensional form to these creatures. Overall, these works play on the relationship between delicate feminine forms and dark and sometimes grotesque imagery.
